Rupert Laycock is a Melbourne-based photographer and DoP working across beauty, fashion, swim and lifestyle. Photography came first and still sits at the heart of how he works, although these days the balance leans towards motion.
After graduating from RMIT in 2012, Rupert spent several years in London in senior photography roles, working with major brands and publications before returning to Melbourne in 2021.
He shoots motion and stills with much the same approach: good light, strong pictures, natural movement and enough room for things to feel real.
